Aimee Hawker is an emerging painting conservator who previously worked for Legris Conservation Inc and the Canadian Conservation Institute in Ottawa, Canada. She graduated from the Master of Art Conservation Program at Queen's University after completing internships at the Lunder Conservation Center at the Smithsonian American Art Museum, the National Gallery of Canada and the Royal Ontario Museum. She also holds the San Gemini Preservation Studies Certificate from the International Institute for Restoration and Preservation Studies; and a B.A. (Honours with Distinction) in Art History and Visual Studies with a minor in Italian studies from the University of Victoria.
