This one-day symposium brings together easel paintings conservation students from Northumbria University, the Courtauld Institute of Art, and the Hamilton Kerr Institute, University of Cambridge. Named in honour of the late conservation researcher and educator Gerry Hedley, the conference allows students and interns to present original academic research to their peers and professionals in the field. Talks can cover individual treatments, art historical investigations, technical studies, and other academic research projects. The conference aims to promote the sharing of original research and to help propel students into the next stage of their careers.
