We offer membership subscriptions to University of Cambridge clients which buy a certain amount of conservation time in the year from our specialist team.
Benefits of membership include having a bespoke service tailored to your collection needs and budget, without long term financial risk. Hourly rates for members are lower for paintings conservation than for non-member clients.
Annual subscriptions run from 1st August to 31st July. Members joining partway through the year will have their subscription pro-rated. Members may renew or cancel at the end of each year of their subscription.
The subscription can be used for any or all the conservation services we offer. We work closely with our clients to agree priorities and targets for the subscription period.
What is included?
Prices include conservation materials and equipment. There are additional charges for transport of artefacts to our secure conservation studio. Occasionally projects may require unusual additional expenses (for example large numbers of archival boxes), and these are charged for, by agreement with the client in advance.
Please note that clients are responsible for insuring their items in transit and while under treatment at our specialist conservation studio.
