About
Victoria studied Fine Art and History of Art (joint honours) at the University of Reading, graduating in 2008. She then studied the Conservation of Easel paintings at the Hamilton Kerr Institute. After graduating in 2011, she worked in private practices with Anna Sandén and with Julia Nagle, and carried out other freelance work such as at Tate Britain and high profile in-situ projects in London. She also served on the council of the BAPCR (British Association of Picture Restorer-Conservators) between 2014 and 2017.
Research
Victoria’s primary role at the HKI is as a studio conservator and supervisor of students and interns. She is also the chief liaison point with the Fitzwilliam Museum.
Victoria has worked on a wide range of paintings, from the 15th century to contemporary and has a keen interest in the conservation of contemporary and modern art.
